How to Cook It

Grill Method (Classic):

1. Thaw in refrigerator overnight. Do not press or overwork the patties.
2. Season both sides generously with kosher salt and black pepper just before cooking. That’s it — the beef does the rest.
3. Grill over high direct heat, 4–5 minutes per side for medium (internal temp 160°F). Resist the urge to press down — you’re squeezing out the juice.
4. Add cheese in the last minute. Toast your buns. Rest 2 minutes before serving.

Cast Iron Method: High heat, no oil needed (the fat does the work). 4 minutes per side. Finish with a splash of butter and a lid for 30 seconds to melt the cheese perfectly.

Storage & Thawing

• Keep frozen until ready to use
• Thaw in refrigerator overnight — never on the counter
• Once thawed, use within 3–5 days
